Idea Myth: Give It Brains!

Time changes yesterday. Once upon a time, ideas were the 'in' thing but not anymore. It's the law of diminishing returns or something like that....

It's not enough just to have ideas anymore in this age and time. You will also need to give your ideas flesh. And not just a mass of flesh; your idea must have legs. Better still you should also equip it with wings because with the age of the idea upon us, ideas come and go at the snap of a finger and even fantastic ideas gets run over in no time!

But the most  important thing you should arm your idea with is BRAINS!

If you have to move every time your idea moves, how sad? Or worst still if you have to move for your idea to move, then you unfortunately what you've got is a baggage for an idea: dead on arrival.

If your idea sleeps when you sleep, is redundant when you're ill or immobilized, your idea dies the same day you do.

If your idea dies when you do, it might not be an entirely bad idea but if your idea dies before you then what do we call that? Opportunity! Opportunity to dream up yet another idea, one that's got a brain!

Don't just get all romanticized by an idea, rather build systems and structures around it that gives it a life of it's on, make it a legacy when you depart this plain. That is the ultimate idea my dear!
