Why Winners Are Quitters

Yes, contrary to what you might have heard and believed, winners are actually quitters, and here’s why:

Because winners know that you don’t win by mere brawns or foolhardy. It’s not about working hard as it is about working smart.

Because winners are great learner. They learn from their mistakes, those of others and they also learn from mentors.

Because they take feedback, realize what is not working and won’t work, and then seek better ways to it.

Because they realize that the process can keep changing, as long as the goal remains the same.

Because they will keep learning and changing the process till they are able to reach their goals faster and better.

Because they understand that they are infallible. They realize that there is so much they didn’t know yet as at when they were setting out on their goals. And as they come to these realizations, they make the needed and appropriate changes. This means that they have to quit some methods and mindsets for better ones.

They also do realize sometimes that they need to change their overall GOALS altogether. When they realize that they have been barking up the wrong tree, they don’t go on with the foolhardy of winners are not quitters! No, they quit their old wrong goals instead and aim for higher better and more valuable goals which are consistent with who they are.

Winners don’t remain stuck in the past; they redefine their goals from time to time.

Yes. Winners really are quitters because they are great learners, and have learnt to put their egos in check.

I hope in the month of August you will learn to be a quitter so you can be a winner. Quite anything that isn’t working, or that won’t be worthy of your efforts pain and sacrifice in the long run. Set higher bigger better goals, build more efficient processes, grow UP!

Quit and Win.
